Privacy policy

When you sign up, we collect only what you give us:

• your CV file and its content (e.g. name, contact details, work experience, education, skills);
• your email address, used to confirm your sign-up with a one-time code and to send you matching job offers.

We don't use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Your browser stores your light/dark theme choice and a random visitor ID. We use that ID to see how visitors move through sign-up (visit, CV added, email confirmed). Once you confirm your email, we link it to that ID together with an internal reference to your CV and the time you confirmed your email. This data is deleted together with the rest of your data.

• to compare your experience with new developer job offers for 30 days after you sign up;
• to email you the offers that match your profile best;
• to confirm that the email address belongs to you.

Before your CV is analyzed by AI, directly identifying details (name, email, phone number, address) are masked. The AI only sees your skills, technologies, roles and experience.

We process your data based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you tick the consent box during sign-up. You can withdraw it at any time — see section 7.

We never send your CV to companies or recruiters and we never sell your data. We send offers to you — you decide where to apply.

We use service providers (subprocessors) only to run Workway: hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, and an AI provider that analyzes the masked content of your CV. They act on our instructions and are required to protect your data.

Scanning stops automatically 30 days after you sign up. 90 days after sign-up we permanently delete your CV, email address and all match data. We store your email address and CV only after you enter the email code — if you never enter it, we keep neither.

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time.

To delete your data earlier, email tobiasznartowski@gmail.com — we will remove your CV, email and match data without undue delay. You can also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland.

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the latest version.
